This is a fast-paced chat on what’s what with Sandhill Cranes in California, particularly in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta.  If you are new to the world of cranes, want to be better prepared for your field trip, or just want to drop in for a refresher (after all, this IS a new Season of the Cranes) we welcome you with open wings, resounding trills, and maybe fresh “crane”berry and cc cookies!

Presenter Mamie Starr is a veteran Department of Fish and Wildlife Crane Docent with a wealth of knowledge to share about the cranes that winter in the Delta.
