Stroll picturesque vineyards and an old-growth riparian forest along the Mokelumne River with local birding expert David Yee. Participants will scan the vegetation and skies looking for species to add to the Winery’s monthly list. At the end of your walk, relax and talk birds with other enthusiasts on the Heritage Oak Winery patio while you enjoy Tom and Carmela Hoffman’s handcrafted wines and a delicious box lunch from the popular Big Belly Deli sandwich shop. If you are lucky, the hummingbird feeders will be buzzing with various species. Lunch, great wine, birds, and nature … what else is there?
