Jim Dunn was the Festival’s 2015-featured photographer and one of the Festival’s most popular presenters. He says, “Birds in the wild are an intriguing subject for any photographer. Making beautiful photographs of wild birds places requirements on the photographer and his or her equipment that are very different.“ Join Jim for a morning foray at the Cosumnes River Preserve to discuss equipment options for wild bird photography, and learn some of the key skills and techniques to get good photographs. DIRECTIONS: This tour begins and ends at the Cosumnes River Preserve in the upper parking lot near the bathrooms (13501 Franklin Blvd, Galt, CA 95632). Meet your guide at 7:10 a.m. on Sunday, November 6, 2022.
