Cosumnes River Preserve Farm Center

DIRECTIONS: From Interstate 5 North, take the Walnut Grove/Thornton exit.  Turn right onto Walnut Grove Rd, towards Thornton.  In about 450 feet, turn left onto Thornton Road. Thornton Road will eventually turn into Franklin Road.  Travel about 3.7 miles (about a half mile beyond the Cosumnes River Preserve Visitor Center parking lot) and turn right on Desmond Road and cross the railroad tracks. Travel one mile to the corner of Desmond and Bruceville Roads. Meet your guide at the locked gate.
