WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:
Part 1 Workshop) In this introduction to nature journaling, learn about the resources, techniques and skills to begin your nature journaling journey. With guidance from John Muir Laws and his Wild Wonder Foundation, explore new ways of looking at nature while recording your observations in words and images.
Part 2 Field trip) With Jack Laws as your guide, apply the techniques of nature journaling in an exploration of the Lodi Lake Nature Area, a unique riparian resource on the Mokelumne River in the heart of Lodi.
MATERIALS: A sketchbook and pencil will be provided, though participants can bring other portable, lightweight drawing materials they like to use.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE: Choose an option and select the number of reservations you wish to purchase. No actual tickets will be issued. You will receive an email to confirm your reservation (Check your Spam Folder if you do not receive one) On the day of the tour your guide will have a list of participants and will check you in.
WAITING LIST PROCEDURES: If you try to register for a tour that is full, you may be given the option to get on a waiting list. The waiting list is limited to the first few customers who attempt to register. If space becomes available these customers will be notified by email that they have 48 hours to register for the tour. After 48 hours, the space(s) will be open for registration on a first come-first serve basis. This system is fully automated. Our volunteer staff will not be able to let you know if you are on the waiting list.
LATE REGISTRATION: If you register for a tour after the deadline, please bring a copy of your confirmation email to show your guide or show confirmation on your cell phone.

Please contact us at least two weeks prior to the tour if you need special accommodations. You will be contacted within a week.
