Taiko Drumming – November 2, 2024

For the 25th year, Taiko drumming, an ancient form of Japanese music, will fill Crete Hall and raise the spirits of Festival attendees.  The skills of Denis and James Kurata will be on display in a performance that includes a collection of crane images provided by veteran Festival organizer Kathy Hieb.

A local Taiko Drumming group will perform traditional Japanese percussion pieces.
