The Secret Lives of Raptors

Saturday, November 4, 2023

10:30 – 11:20 AM

Patio off Kirst Hall, Hutchins Street Square, Lodi, CA

Join Native Bird Connections for an intimate look at the behaviors, life experiences, and personal stories of several birds of prey.  See hawks and owls up close and learn their unique stories.  Native Bird Connections will bring several live, non-releasable birds – possibly an Eurasian Eagle-owl, white Red-tailed Hawk, Northern Goshawk, Northern Pygmy Owl, Peregrine Falcon, and others.  This presentation repeats on Saturday at 1:40 PM.

Seating will be first come first serve.

The birds and people of Native Bird Connections join to offer experiences that go beyond the ordinary. From school programs tailored to the California State Standards to presentations for seniors, scouts and special interest groups, we strive to immerse the audience in an intimate view of a wild bird's behavior, life choices and needs. Regardless of age, participants find themselves connecting with living beings through empathy and awe, emerging inspired.
