LIVE ANIMAL PRESENTATION – The Secret Lives of Raptors #2 – November 3, 2024

DATE: Sunday, November 3, 2024

TIME: 1:40 – 2:30 p.m.

LOCATION: Kirst Hall Patio, Hutchins Street Square, Lodi, CA

Join Native Bird Connections for an intimate look at the behaviors, life experiences, and personal stories of several birds of prey.  See hawks and owls up close and learn their unique stories.  Native Bird Connections will bring several live non-releasable birds – possibly a Eurasian Eagle Owl, White Red-Tailed Hawk, Northern Goshawk, Northern pygmy Owl, Peregrine Falcon, and others.

Native Bird Connections is “a team of educators who work with live wild birds while sharing educational messages with groups of all ages”.  The birds they share “are the victims of permanent physical or psychological damage rendering them unable to survive in the wild.”

This presentation is repeated at 1:40 p.m.

THIS IS A FREE PRESENTATION

Seating will be first come first serve.

The birds and people of Native Bird Connections join to offer experiences that go beyond the ordinary. From school programs tailored to the California State Standards to presentations for seniors, scouts and special interest groups, we strive to immerse the audience in an intimate view of a wild bird's behavior, life choices and needs. Regardless of age, participants find themselves connecting with living beings through empathy and awe, emerging inspired.
