2024 Lodi Sandhill Crane Association
Student Nature Journaling Exhibition
“STUDENTS NATURE JOURNALING IN THEIR SCHOOLYARDS”
Dear Teachers – The 26th Lodi Sandhill Crane Festival is planned to take place in Lodi’s Hutchin Street Square, November 2nd and 3rd, 2024. The festival is a great place for visitors to visit and learn more about the Sandhill Crane migration which happens every year in nearby delta wetlands, September through late February. November’s festival tour registration opens early in September. https://lodisandhillcrane.org/about-the- festival/
NEW! Student NATURE JOURNALING Art Exhibition at the Festival– To encourage students to become better nature observers, we are pleased to invite you to participate in the sixth annual Lodi Sandhill Crane Association Student Journal- Art Exhibition to be held at the Festival this year. Instead of featuring student ART, as we have done in the past, we are hoping to promote STUDENT NATURE JOURNALING work done in their schoolyards. We will feature these “One-Pager” student journal entries at the festival, November 1-3, 2024, at Hutchins Street Square.
WHAT: Students NATURE JOURNALING in their schoolyard:

Art will be displayed, November 1- 3, 2024. Students may bring their own journals to the festival and meet guest speaker, John Muir Laws, who will present several sessions on Nature Journaling.
