The Lodi Sandhill Crane Association has been selected as the recipient of the 2023 Frank R. Beeler Watershed Stewardship Award by the Lower Mokelumne River Partnership.
The award and plaque will be presented at EBMUD’s Pardee Barbeque on October 6th, 2023, 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The Frank R. Beeler Watershed Stewardship Award is presented annually to acknowledge and recognize an individual or organization within the Lower Mokelumne River watershed who has shown outstanding leadership, responsibly or activism in the promotion of sound and innovative natural resource practice on the Mokelumne River watershed.
Frank Beeler, Lodi’s water and wastewater superintendent, died in 2009.
