Author and Educator John Muir Laws
Special Guest at Crane Festival
Educator, author, artist and conservationist John Muir “Jack” Laws will be a featured guest at the 26thannual Lodi Sandhill Crane Festival, November 2-3. Laws will be Saturday’s featured speaker and is also slated to conduct workshops on Nature Journaling and Bird Drawing.
The festival’s guided tours and workshops provide unique opportunities to view cranes and other wildlife and learn new skills. Space is limited and registration for tours, workshops and a Friday evening opening reception is available online. For full information visit www.lodisandhillcrane.org .
All other Sandhill Crane Festival activities at Hutchins Street Square – including speakers and wildlife presentations, an art show, exhibit hall and children’s activities – will be free and open to the public Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Lodi Sandhill Crane Festival is a project of the Lodi Sandhill Crane Association (LSCA) in cooperation with the City of Lodi.
