Lodi Lake Nature Trail Area

The Lodi Lake Wilderness Area is located in the northeast corner of Lodi Lake Park.  It has 3.2 miles of trails through a riparian forest.  It is very shaded by oaks, cottonwoods, and other native trees and shru This is a popular spot for hiking, bike riding, birding and relaxing along the Mokelumne River.  Markers and signs provide information about the plants, animals and fish along the trail. It is not uncommon to see deer along the trail. There is a small fee for parking.

Following the workshop, apply the techniques of nature journaling in an exploration of the Lodi Lake Nature Area, a unique riparian resource on the Mokelumne River in the heart of Lodi.
